Come Along Chinese Seafood Restaurant(Best Price on Website!): Reviews & Ratings
It's probably been a good 8 years since we last had dim sum at Come Along. This place is actually quite busy in the morning. We ordered the radish cake in xo sauce ($10.75), prawn spring rolls ($8.75), stuffed bean curd ($8.75), siu mai ($9.5), beef rice roll ($10.25), and eggplant with shrimp paste ($9.75). Like most places now, dim sum seems so expensive these days. But we did get a 20% discount which is pretty huge. No wonder why this place was so busy! The beef rice rolls were pretty good. As was the stuffed bean curd rolls. Couldn't really taste much xo sauce on the pan fried radish cakes tho.
The food s good, tasty, come as a bug portion like chinese round table way. A little bit packed with less space between tables. Reserved in advance if you don’t want to wait for a queue.
If you go in the fall / winter, ask to sit away from the window if you mind cold air seeping in . Otherwise, the restaurant does a very decent job in the service and the food. VERY LARGE PORTIONS. Peking Duck - crispy skin. Lots of meat attached. The thin wrappers for Peking duck - Quite dry. Chewy. A little cold. Duck pieces (bone in) stirred fried with bottle melon - Too salty in my opinion. Black cod (steamed whole) in black bean sauce - $58 . Great in taste. Whole Chicken is complementary for order over $100. - tastes very good Sweet and sour pork chops - ok. Personally I didn’t like this kind of meat too much. Vegetable with dried scallop - a little too tough to chew. red bean dessert soup (complementary) - Great ! Chinese almond coconut cookies (complementary) - yum! Overall we love their free chicken ( 走地雞!which is expensive ) we probably won’t order peking duck again
For a chinese restaurant that caters to the more budget friendly spectrum, the service here was surprisingly excellent - which is shocking for budget chinese restaurants lol! But besides the good service, food here is also very decent especially when we factor in price - which is one of the more value-oriented dim sum places around in GVRD area. Within the same class, this place is at least another 10-15% cheaper which makes a big difference. Taste / seasoning is on the lighter side, wok-hei (breath of wok) and flavours are slightly more muted but overall still good for the price. Ambience is nothing special. The restaurant is packed on a weekday lunch service which says something - not bad. Will return!
Enjoyed a delicious dinner at Come Along Chinese Seafood Restaurant. They have the standard Chinese seafood restaurant menu and portions are large. Food- our favourite dishes were: -Soy stir fried Green onion Lobster over noodles -Soy steamed fish -Scallop over green pea tips -Dried scallop and egg white fried rice Parking Free street parking out front and in the back parking lot.
Food was exceptionally good, and flavourful. Heard they have a new chef. The chicken was a bit the leaner side, with majority being bones, but honestly all of the dishes are all tender, well marinated, and very delicious. Very large portions.
Heard this place had a new owner an amazing Chef so I had to try to see what the hype was all about. Definitely an amazing experience, and many dishes you can’t find anywhere and the flavours will exceed your expectations. Definitely a five star experience. Next time I’m here I have to try the king crab. -Dine out Daily Fam-
Come here for the food not the atmosphere. The Dim sum is fresh and authentic. Week day deals $1 tea and 20%off is great. Jumbo Dim sum size.

Let's talk about the stars of the show. The dim sum offerings range from the satisfying radish cake in XO sauce to the delectable prawn spring rolls. Penny Rusty Sophie notes how the deliciousness does not overshadow the restaurant’s budget-friendly approach, especially with enticing discounts that keep the customers coming back. You'll find that the beef rice rolls and stuffed bean curd are standout choices as they burst with flavor, despite some dishes being slightly less impactful on seasoning like the pan-fried radish cake.
For those looking for classic Chinese seafood fare, the menu is expansive and rich with options. You can't go wrong with the soy stir-fried green onion lobster over noodles or the subtle yet exquisite soy steamed fish. Tricia C's favorites, including the dried scallop and egg white fried rice, showcase the skilled culinary balance of flavors. Additionally, don't miss out on the complimentary chicken when you spend over $100 – a gesture that adds to the already commendable value proposition.
